We have an excellent location right in the heart of the Cayo District and are located less than 2 miles from downtown San Ignacio. This gives you the convenience of being close to town with all of the ambiance of being in the jungle. You are awakened each morning by the sounds of birds and other wildlife. We are close to all of the Maya sites, zip lines, caves and river adventures.
We make it so easy by helping you plan your vacation and giving you the option of an all-inclusive transportation package. With the all-inclusive package you will be picked up from and returned to the international airport, daily taxi to and from San Ignacio for delicious meals in our local restaurants. All tours will pick you up and return you to your door at Villa Cayo.
MEET THE OWNERS
What can be said about a couple in their 40's who packed up their life in the US and moved to the beach in Belize? Well, whatever you call them, that was us. We lived on the beach for almost 20 years and then in our 60's moved to CAYO District of Belize.
We have been in Cayo since 2008 with our two rescue dogs and really like living in such a welcoming area. The outdoor living, the slower pace, and the huge farmers market gives us the ability to live a less expensive and healthier lifestyle, if we choose.
Because Belize is such a small country, the beaches are not far away so, like in the states, we take a two hour trip to the beach where we can dive, snorkel or fish to our hearts content.
Now we have our rental guesthouses and provide private direct transfers from either airport or the water taxi in our new, comfortable and air-conditoned van.
Every day we are reminded of the commitment and responsibility we have to each of our guests. It is a privilege for us to care for you and make sure you have an amazing time in Belize.

DIRECT TRANSFERS
Villa Cayo has a well-trained Bi-lingual Belizean van driver that is also a licensed tour guide providing not only a safe journey but accurate and interesting information about what you will be doing during your stay here in Belize.
Our van is a comfortable, new, airconditioned van that provides direct private transfers from the international/ municipal airports or the water taxi direct to your door at Villa Cayo. We will never ask you to wait for another guest on a later flight or detour to another location in route. This is a direct transfer for Villa Cayo guests only.
Time allowing we will stop at the Belize Zoo or The Art Gallery both of which have food if you arrive starved. If you prefer a stop at a restaurant that can also done, food not included. There is another stop included at the grocery stores in Santa Elena to pick up food and drinks before arriving at Villa Cayo.
We can also provide direct transfers to/from other locations such as Placencia and Hopkins with a minimum of four people.
